As you may know, AnyLogic Technology Center marked its physical presence in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, a couple of years ago. With the lessons learned from recent years, including the value of face-to-face communication, we have recently expanded our physical office.
This larger space will allow us to accommodate our continually growing development and support teams and provide a better place for personal engagements with our European clients and partners.
AnyLogic has always been close to its European customers. With a bigger Lisbon office, more than 10 European partners, and user meetings, we look forward to further fostering our relationships with the simulation modeling community across the continent.
AnyLogic in Lisbon
Portugal’s capital is quickly becoming a dynamic hub for technology and innovation. Its perfect location allows working in both European and American time zones. With an office in Lisbon, we can provide even better support to our European clients, enhance collaboration with local industries, and expand the community of simulation professionals.
The Portuguese office counts dozens of dedicated AnyLogic employees from different company departments, and our team is constantly growing with new talent. You can always check open jobs on our Careers page. The upgraded office comes just in time to welcome every partner, client, and employee.
Hands-on simulation course
Lisbon has also become a place for offline training sessions organized by the AnyLogic team. This October, the training on simulation modeling is coming back. The hands-on course will provide a deep dive into simulation modeling with AnyLogic for everyone new to the software.
It will include theoretical and practical sessions, knowledge sharing, and, of course, will give a chance to meet like-minded people from the simulation modeling world. The training offers a comprehensive approach that balances conceptual understanding with model-building exercises.
It is not too late to register and take your seat at this year’s in-person training event in Lisbon, which will take place October 21–23. The three-day training program and registration are available on the event page.
AnyLogic user meeting
AnyLogic user meetings are becoming a tradition. We are about to welcome everyone to the 2nd German AnyLogic User Meeting, an event organized by our partners SimPlan AG in Hanau, Germany, on November 6. Like last year, this event will be packed with presentations, live demos, and case studies from industry leaders on advanced simulation modeling.
The novelty of this year is pre-event workshops that will happen on November 5 and will explore topics like the material handling library, teamwork in simulation modeling, the new AnyLogic integration with the NVIDIA Omniverse and more.
