September saw our first seminar in Singapore and we were delighted to welcome representatives of PwC, Dell, Bank Indonesia, Proctor & Gamble, and John Deere, amongst a great variety of organizations. In addition, sessions were also held for attendees wishing to learn modeling in AnyLogic and anyLogistix.

Collaboration between AnyLogic and leading manufacturing innovation institute HSSMI is developing at a fast pace. On August 24, 2017, the Virtual Engineering (VE) Team at HSSMI received training on multi-method simulation modelling in an AnyLogic environment. This was delivered by dseConsulting, long-term AnyLogic distributor and service parovider in the UK.
Purdue University recently hosted an AnyLogic Training course at their main campus in West Lafayette, Indiana. Course attendees enjoyed state-of-the-art classrooms on a beautifully landscaped suburban campus. Along with AnyLogic Europe, we held a seminar for AnyLogic users in Paris. It was attended by 55 representatives from companies and universities that use simulation modeling for education and business purposes. The seminar’s speakers showcased how AnyLogic is applied in the fields of energy systems, industrial risk assessment, healthcare, logistics, and pedestrian flow modeling.

A two day conference of AnyLogic users took place in Beijing. It welcomed 50 representatives from Chinese and international companies. With their own models, they demonstrated how to handle business issues using the AnyLogic simulation tool. Along with Alena Beloshapko, we showcased Russian and international simulation modeling projects for transportation, manufacturing, logistics, and pedestrian traffic. At the workshops, conference participants learned more about new AnyLogic libraries for various business areas.
We successfully completed the seminar in Tokyo. We were honored to welcome the representatives of such companies as Panasonic, Hitachi and the attendees of international consulting companies: PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Milliman. The seminar was also looked up by the representatives of leading Japanese universities. This seminar was vital both for our partners, TechSupport Management, and for us. Seminar speakers from AnyLogic support team, Sergey Suslov and Pavel Lebedev, shared the experience of AnyLogiс modeling, told about latest business cases of using AnyLogic, and introduced anyLogistix – the tool for supply chain management and optimization.
