AnyLogic 9 developments - new interface and toolbar

We are previewing a major new version of our flagship product AnyLogic – AnyLogic 9. The interface is being entirely redesigned and will be browser-based so that you have a common user experience on desktop and online.

In this series of blog posts, we show how we are making AnyLogic 9 more user-friendly. We have already talked about the full integration of the program with AnyLogic Cloud and new mechanics for working with process diagrams. Today we will show how the new version of the toolbar differs from the current one.

White paper: Simulation Modeling for Consulting

White paper: Simulation Modeling for Consulting

We have a new white paper about the value of simulation modeling for consultants and their clients and the benefits of choosing the right simulation modeling tool.

Simulation modeling offers organizations an alternative to the traditional methods of spreadsheet-based analysis or linear programming and can be superior when developing solutions for complex systems and processes. In many cases, consultants are key to accessing these possibilities that simulation modeling has to offer. Find out more and download...

AnyLogic 9 developments - AnyLogic Cloud Integration

AnyLogic 9, the new version of our popular simulation tool, is on its way and we will be showing it in September at our annual simulation modeling event - the AnyLogic Conference. Here, we continue our preview updates for AnyLogic 9.

We have already shown how we can make it easier for users to create and edit process diagrams. In this article, you will find, perhaps, the most important difference between AnyLogic 9 and previous versions – cloud platform integration.

Building environmentally friendly models

Building environmentally friendly models

Even though your business may not involve anything remotely related to farming or agriculture, we believe our modeling approach is useful for demonstrating how an interactive simulation model can be used to improve collaboration and decision making.

Let’s examine a model where we used high-level aggregate data and focused on the interactions between different processes. NB: No animals have been harmed during these simulations.

Pathmind Reinforcement Learning for Simulation webinar

Pathmind Reinforcement Learning for Simulation webinar

Pathmind is a platform that enables AnyLogic users to integrate reinforcement learning into their AnyLogic simulations. This webinar demonstrates how to set up Pathmind reinforcement learning in an AnyLogic model and train an AI policy in the Pathmind web application. We also share two example models that showcase how reinforcement learning can outperform baseline heuristics and other optimization tools.

Find out more, see the webinar recording, and learn from the example models.
